Nancy is a full-time photographer and journalist based in Western New York, sought after locally and nationally for her artful style in editorial, and creative assignments. She's a Buffalo native, and a proud urban pioneer basing her live/work space in the city's historic Old First Ward. She's been documenting and delivering happiness to clients for two decades and is a trusted photo professional. In 2016 her business became a New York State-certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE). Nancy studied at University at Buffalo (English Literature, Photography, and Arts Management), and at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, where she earned a Master of Fine Arts – part of the school's first-ever M.F.A. group of photo graduate students. Nancy is a contributing music reviewer and reporter for The Buffalo News and is a regular contributor to Buffalo Spree Magazine, writing lifestyle features and shooting photographs for her stories: she’s also Event Photographer there. She has won awards for her photography and writing – she is a past recipient of Buffalo Business First's 40 Under Forty award. She served on the board of CEPA Gallery (board president and secretary) from 2007-2016, serves on Hilbert College's Board of Professional Advisers for its Digital and Media Arts Department, and is part of the University at Buffalo Mentoring program.
