I am a full-time photographer and journalist based in Western New York, sought after locally and nationally for my artful style in editorial and creative assignments. I am a Buffalo native and a proud urban pioneer basing my live/work space in the city's historic Old First Ward.
As a trusted photo professional, I've been documenting and delivering happiness to my clients for over two decades.
In 2016 my business became a New York State-certified Woman-owned Business Enterprise (WBE) and is listed on the NYS MWBE Directory: as your WBE partner, this designation and expertise help your company/organization meet your goals.
I studied at University at Buffalo (English Literature major, Photography minor, and Arts Management independent study via Black Mountain College II), and at Parsons School of Design in Manhattan, where I earned a Master of Fine Arts – the school's first-ever M.F.A. class of thirteen photo graduate students.
I am a contributing music reviewer and reporter for The Buffalo News and a regular contributor to Buffalo Spree Magazine, writing lifestyle features and shooting photographs for them: I'm also Event Photographer there. I've won awards for my photography and writing and was recognized as a business leader as a recipient of Buffalo Business First's 40 Under Forty award. I served on the board of CEPA Gallery (board president and secretary) from 2007-2016, and serve on Hilbert College's Board of Professional Advisers for its Digital and Media Arts Department. I'm also part of the University at Buffalo Mentoring program.
